FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s your goal?

…To educate America’s youth about abortion using this dynamic film and study guide.  It has already reached thousands of students.  You can help reach thousands more!

Who can be a “40” intern?

This internship is primarily for students of college and high school age.  If you feel called to be an intern at another stage in life, we are happy to discuss this with you.  For example, maybe you are in a career transition and looking to build some different skill sets, add to your resume, or just looking to get non-profit experience.  Contact us to see if we would make a good match.

Where do I have to live in order to be an intern?

Anywhere in the Universe.  We are flexible.

As long as you have a phone and computer, you’ll probably be fine working anywhere you are comfortable.

How flexible is this?

Compared to the real world, it’s very flexible!  We know you are busy with school, life, etc.  There are various goals and deadlines we’d like to meet throughout the year, so we’ll work together to make sure your time interning fits well with your schedule.

What if I want to intern for more than 40 hours?

We figured working with us for the equivalent of one full work week will make you sick of us,

so we decided to give you the opportunity to move on.  Just kidding.

If you truly want to continue helping us, we’ll see if we can make another 40 hour agreement.  We don’t see why not!  In fact, you can re-apply as much as you want until you find a job that actually will give you money for your time.

Can I team up with a friend or classmate?

Yes!  Sounds fun!  Let’s try it!  You’ll both have to apply separately, notifying us in your cover letter that you intend to work together.  Heck, why not more than one friend! We think the more the merrier! There are certain projects that could use a team effort anyway.

Can I expect any compensation for my time?

Unfortunately not.  Our organization, though, is able to compensate you for expenses relating to your internship, including travel expenses, gas, office material, and more.

What organization is behind the “40” film?
