About “40”
(62 min in length)
“40” is an inspirational movie that examines the effects of abortion on our nation over the last 40 years since Roe v. Wade. The film presents abortion as the most important human and civil rights issue of our time. It gives voice to both sides fairly and lets women speak for themselves through experience on the reasons for their firm convictions about abortion. “40” highlights well-reasoned secular arguments against the pro-choice position and provides heartfelt testimonies from post abortive women and men. It is the most definitive film on abortion ever made.

ABOUT JOHN MORALES
About Yvonne
Yvonne Florczak-Seeman was sixteen years old when she made the agonizing decision to end the life of her unborn child. She can still vividly remember the visit to the abortion clinic. She can recall people telling her that her situation was “temporary” and that in just a few hours it would all be over. During the three hours at the Planned Parenthood clinic, Yvonne was never advised of the long-term consequences would be.
The true result of that abortion was the complete destruction of her life for the next twenty years.
Yvonne wishes she would have learned the proverbial lesson after that experience. She not only experienced that traumatic incident but went on to have four additional abortions. The four abortions that followed were merely medical procedures in her mind. This self-serving designation was created to hide the fact that her first abortion had not only removed “some harmless tissue” but has also succeeded in removing her very soul and personal identity.

HOSTED BY
ST. ISAAC JOGUES
We welcome people from the entire area to this special event.
“40” is a dynamic film that highlights the issue of abortion in America from a human rights perspective.
In 62 minutes the creator, John Morales, looks at 40 years of the effects of legalized abortion on American individuals, groups, and communities, without taking a ’religious’ perspective.
A person of any faith, or no faith, will appreciate the style of this dynamic documentary.
We feel children as young as 13 can see this film, since there are no graphic images or material unsuitable for children.
Through the celebration of the Eucharist, in the Sacraments, and in the many devotions held in our church, we worship together. In the Perpetual Adoration Chapel of the Annunciation, Jesus Christ, really and truly present in the Blessed Sacrament is worshiped and adored twenty-four hours day, seven days a week. Through our school, religious education program, adult formation, youth ministry programs, Christian Services and Outreach Ministries, and our other spiritual programs we offer a variety of ways for Catholics committed to Christ to give witness to Him.
